Finlay Extends License Deal With Macy's

Jewelry retailer Finlay Enterprises Inc. said Monday it extended a license agreement with Macy's Inc. unit Macy's Central by two years.

The pact will now run until Jan. 29, 2011.

Finlay Enterprises' Finlay Fine Jewelry Corp. division operates stand-alone specialty jewelry stores and licensed jewelry departments in U.S. department stores. It ran 794 locations at the end of fiscal 2007, including 69 Bailey Banks & Biddle, 32 Carlyle and five Congress specialty jewelry stores.

Macy's Central will contain the previously named Macy's Midwest and Macy's South divisions once a consolidation of the units is complete.
