Longtime jewelry store is leaving mall

Sartor Hamann, a longtime jewelry store at Foothills Mall, is closing its doors at end of the month, ending a 24-year relationship with Fort Collins.

The family-owned store, based in Lincoln, Neb., “has made a pretty conscious deci-sion to stay close to home,” said mall manager Cynthia Eichler.

Sartor Hamann, located in triple A space just inside the mall’s main entrance, is the second highest volume jewelry store in the mall, Eichler said.

Representatives at Sartor Hamann were unavailable for comment and did not answer the phone at the store today.
